From a private collection of interesting Robot cameras we offer this very rare hardly seen in mint condition Robot Royal 18 with Schneider-Kreuznach 40mm f1.9 Xenon lens. Only about 65 cameras were made as Robot Royal 18. Some features about this model:
- This version has a 24x18 frame and the film channel has been modified for this
- The spring-driven motor takes up to 30 shots
- The frame counter goes up to 70
This is a late version engraved with "Robot Royal 18" on the top plate. The plate on the front side shows "Royal 18".
Lens is clean. Some small pieces of dust are visible but nothing important to mention. The camera has no dings or dents. Technically it is in perfect working condition. Speeding times are accurate. Rangefinder is contrast. Great set for collecting.
