From a private collection of interesting Robot cameras is offered an extremely rare hardly seen Robot Super Recorder 24 with Schneider-Kreuznach 75mm f4 Tele-Xenar lens.

When Robot ended the the production of chrome/vulcanite cameras in 1970 this basically also meant the end of the spring-driven recorder because the electric drive was gaining ground already. However, there was interest in a fast recorder that was independent of the power supply. Robot reacted with a recorder which is one of the best ever made and still nowadays is hardly known among collectors. The camera has a double spring mechanism in the camera base. This the performance of this surpasses everything that has been seen before. The camera which is winded with a large rotary handle takes shots up to 8 frames per second.

Robot made this so-called hybride or Super Recorder in two versions: as a 24 model (24x24 frames) and a 36 model (24x36 frames). As an option both models could be supplied with a rewind mechanism, continuous firing mode and speeding times up to 1/500 sec (standard up to 1/250 sec). The offered Robot Super Recorder 24 has all 3 options.

The camera comes with a Schneider-Kreuznach 75mm f4 Tele-Xenar lens and 75mm finder. Some small signs of use are visible on the lens. Camera itself looks great. Technically in perfect working condition. Included of course is the handle so the camera can be used without any problems.

Robot made in total about 200 of these cameras in the various versions, which makes this particular version a very rare and hard to find model. Perhaps a once in a lifetime occasion. So don't wait too long.
